Tianmu Lake Institute of Advanced Energy Storage Technologies (TIES) was jointly founded by the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Liyang High and New Tech Industrial Park in 2017. It is dedicated to the development of original energy storage technologies, verification and incubation, high-level testing and failure analysis, the engineering amplification of battery materials and devices, numerical simulation and intelligent manufacturing, innovative energy storage applications and the supply of high-value information consultation and intellectual property services regarding system integration, and the popularization and communication of energy storage knowledge. As a new third-party R&D institution, TIES strives to export high-quality professional services and technologies, help researchers and enterprises improve their R&D level and realize scientific research results with significant application value.
