Based on the scientific research achievements of the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and related sub-platforms, the Sodium-ion Battery Innovation Platform of IOPLY is committed to promoting the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological innovation results through the industry-university-research collaboration and supporting the high-quality development of the industry. The platform pays attention to research on new battery technologies and processes, technological storage and achievement transformation. Meanwhile, it also undertakes various energy storage research and engineering projects at national and local levels. The platform will take the lead in forming several sodium-ion battery-related original core technologies with independent intellectual property rights. Focus will be given to new cathode materials and their key functional material technologies, new electrolyte material technologies, special sodium battery technologies, testing and characterization technologies for materials and batteries, battery safety and reliability design and evaluation technologies, and new processes for sodium-ion batteries, to meet the demand for sodium-ion batteries whose technical requirements are higher in all respects.
