Institute for Complex Adaptive Matter
Established in 1999, the Institute for Complex Adaptive Matter (ICAM) brings together research institutions and physicists from different regions in an open and dynamic partnership to carry out cooperative research and training exchanges. It received financial support from the US National Science Foundation in 2004 to continue and expand its international academic and educational activities. So far, it has 72 branches around the world. ICAM-China was established in January 2012. By 2022, ICAM-China has developed into a joint organization of 25 research institutions in China for interdisciplinary academic cooperation and exchange, with the headquarters permanently located in IOPLY. Covering the intersection from theory to experiment, from physics, chemistry, and biology to materials science, ICAM-China aims to provide a platform for collaboration and exchange in interdisciplinary research between matter, materials and life science, and to further support and promote international academic exchanges and educational activities in China.

Expert Service Center
In 2022, IOPLY was selected as Jiangsu Provincial Expert Service Center. Approved by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province, combined with the national and provincial rural revitalization strategy, the provincial expert service center aims to give full play to the leading role of experts, and promote a long-term mechanism and a coherent service system for experts to serve the grassroots.
As a service-oriented and results-oriented center, IOPLY, based on the strategic layout of provincial and municipal economic development, the development goals of emerging industries, and the need for innovative development and talent team construction, as well as Liyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone and IOPLY Public Technology Platform, has established good contacts with counterpart experts in technical research, project cooperation, achievement transformation, technical consultation, and talent training. It also organizes expert service activities, establishes innovation alliances, explores cooperation mechanisms for collaborative innovation, and promotes the transformation of high-tech achievements.
"Innovation China" Changzhou Science and Technology Innovation Service Center of China Inspection and Testing Society
IOPLY is one of the first "Innovation China" Changzhou Science and Technology Innovation Service Centers of the China Inspection and Testing Society (CITS). According to the industrial layout of Changzhou City in Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment and Advanced Carbon Materials, it will develop itself into a "high-end, smart, green, integrated, brand-based, cluster-oriented" center, and in conjunction with CITS to help upgrade more innovation-driven enterprises with first mover advantage in leading industries, to promote the deep integration of industry and education, and to drive local economic development.

长三角物理研究中心获得首批“科创中国”产学研类创新基地认定，建设周期为2022年至2024年。中心将积极创优争先，开展创新基地规范、长效、特色的创建工作，努力将中心打造为在储能、新能源、先进材料和医疗器械等方面的产学研高地。
IOPLY“悟理”科学体验中心
长三角物理研究中心依托溧阳的区域优势和中国科学院物理研究所的资源优势，以提高青少年学生综合科学素质为根本宗旨，积极开展中小学生科学综合实践活动，发展学生的科学认知、学习和创新能力，培养学生的科技素养，促进学生科学素质的全面提高。中心将发展成为集职业体验、科学教育和社会实践于一体的重要场所。
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Base for Students
IOPLY has cooperated with 18 domestic well-known universities in platform construction and talent cultivation and co-built innovation and entrepreneurship practice bases for students with them, including the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beihang University, Chongqing University, Dalian University of Technology, South China University of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hunan University, Jilin University, Lanzhou University, Nankai University, Nanjing University, Shandong University, Sichuan University, Tianjin University, Wuhan University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Northwest University, and University of Science and Technology of China. With technology platforms and innovation-driven enterprises as carriers, we aim to provide students with opportunities for scientific research and practice and build a bridge for innovation and entrepreneurship.
